Last summer I spent two weeks in Romania. If I must use only one word for describing my experience, I’m saying: AMAZING. When I discovered that I was supposed to go there, I didn’t expect that: this nation is full of beautiful views, a lot of amazing cities and wild landscapes. I stayed in a beautiful host family, Balan’s family, they were fantastic, and they considered me as a real member of the family.
Romanian people are very polite and funny, gentle and always ready to help you, in every single moment and for everything.
I spent only one week with my host family, and I enjoyed every single moment spent with them, especially when they brought me to Bran’s Castel, to the Royal Palace and to Fortress Poienari. During that week, I also stayed with the other campers, and we visited Bucarest and had fun in the capital, especially at the Therme.
After the first week, we moved to Costanza, 3 hours far from Bucarest, on the Black Sea, where the camp was situated.
We spent another amazing week, playing some games and having great time on the beach.
I really enjoyed that experience, actually one of the best in my life till now.
I liked so much this camp, in which we had also a soccer field, a tennis field and a swimming pool.
The Costanza’s Lion Club create a perfect schedule for this holiday, and I really appreciate every single moment passed there.
Thanks to Lions for this unbelievable opportunity, thanks to Balan’s family for hosting me and also thanks to my family, that allowed me to do this kind of experience.
And least but not last, thank to Romania, I’m pretty sure that I’ll come back there one day!
