My name is Giulia and I’m 18, this summer I took part in the yce program, I attended the fashion camp in Istanbul.
My experience was great, I stayed in Turkey 3 weeks, I spent half of the time with my host family in Istanbul. I got to know the family I was assigned with about 20 days before leaving. My host family was extremely welcoming, i had a host sister who is 15 and a 10 year-old host brother. They taught me a lot of things about Turkey and took well care of me, we visited Istanbul, had dinner on a boat in the Bosphorus strait and then we went to their summer house in Sapança.
