I miss Italy already!
This was one of the best experiences of my life, I loved every minute of this Camp.
My host families were all very nice, and made me feel like I was part of the family.
I especially liked Matera and Capri.

That being said, I would’ve liked more time in Naples, and less time in some of the smaller cities like Melfi and Caserta.
I really enjoyed being in Matera for their Festa Della Bruna, and I also liked the day trip to Reggio Calabria, and the boat tour around Capri.
The lions that we met with in each city were wonderful and kind, and we enjoyed touring the cities with them.

Specifically, I also really enjoyed Pompeii, but most of all, I loved staying with the families in each city, and the originality of the travelling hosts camp, a mix of camp and host family stay.
I really liked as well that we were in a small group of only 6, as it gave us more room to all become close friends, and get closer with all of our host siblings, too.
Thank you so much for organizing this camp, it was an experience that I’ll never forget.
I have so many memories and friends that I made, and it has been the best summer of my life!
